My Birthday and a Giveaway!

For my birthday this year I decided to give back to one of you to celebrate! I contacted The Learning Station and asked if I could give away their newest CD Brain Breaks Action Songs: Let's Move (click on the picture to check it out in their store). Of course they said yes! By clicking the CD picture above you can hear snippets of the songs. The CD opens with a song called "Good Morning" that is perfect for morning meetings or circle time. The CD ends with a great song called "Goodbye Song" that is perfect to end your day and is a fun take on the animals goodbye poem that many of you have probably seen around Pinterest. There are videos for both of these songs that you can hear by clicking the hyperlinks!

My favorite on the CD is "Happy Dance." I believe we should all start our day in a happy mood and this song will certainly do that. Children will love doing all the fun movements. Check out the video below!



This CD also contains the popular songs "Iggle Wiggle", Chili Chili", "I Am The Music Man", "Penguin Song", "Monster Shuffle", and "A Turkey Dance". There are also many more fun brain breaks that are perfect for indoor recess, morning meeting, circle time, etc.

Thanksgiving Learning Songs and Brain Breaks

Does your class love to sing? Songs can help children learn new information in a variety of subjects and can also provide a much needed brain break! My students always loved singing songs. These Thanksgiving songs by The Learning Station cover Math, Social Studies, and some are just plain fun that will allow them to get their wiggles out! They are perfect for leading up to Thanksgiving or for your party if you have one.

This first song, Turkey Dance incorporates fun movements and will have your students giggling as they get a good workout. They will love doing this brain break to help break up the day!



The second one is a collection of Thanksgiving songs from The Learning Station. It would be perfect to use for a classroom party as they are eating their food or for indoor recess.
