For my birthday this year I decided to give back to one of you to celebrate! I contacted The Learning Station and asked if I could give away their newest CD Brain Breaks Action Songs: Let's Move (click on the picture to check it out in their store). Of course they said yes! To win the CD check out the Rafflecopter which is at the bottom of the post. It may take time to load on phones and tablets. Please be patient and check out the CD review while you wait. I am also giving away $10 of teaching resources to one teacher. You get to pick the resources. They can't be bundles.
By clicking the CD picture above you can hear snippets of the songs. The CD opens with a song called "Good Morning" that is perfect for morning meetings or circle time. The CD ends with a great song called "Goodbye Song" that is perfect to end your day and is a fun take on the animals goodbye poem that many of you have probably seen around Pinterest. There are videos for both of these songs that you can hear by clicking the hyperlinks!
My favorite on the CD is "Happy Dance." I believe we should all start our day in a happy mood and this song will certainly do that. Children will love doing all the fun movements. Check out the video below!
This CD also contains the popular songs "Iggle Wiggle", Chili Chili", "I Am The Music Man", "Penguin Song", "Monster Shuffle", and "A Turkey Dance". There are also many more fun brain breaks that are perfect for indoor recess, morning meeting, circle time, etc.
Do you want to win this CD? Enter on Rafflecopter by Thursday at 11:59am. I will select a winner when I wake up on Friday. You will have 48 hours to respond with your mailing address once I send you the email. So be sure that you check the email address that you supplied on Rafflecopter or I will select a new winner! For more fun check out The Learning Station on Facebook where they give away CDs, DVDs, and more!

Freebie Fridays - December 30th, 2016
Happy Friday!!! I hope everyone is enjoying their break. I know some of you go back on the 2nd or 3rd and others not until the 9th. I saw many who don't go back until the 9th complaining that they were still in school when others weren't. Like I told you now you get more time to enjoy after the holidays before going back. Enjoy it! I myself always enjoyed having more time after the holidays to rest up! With that said Freebie Fridays are back!!!
This week's featured Freebie is a brand new one. Winter Mugs Subtracting from 11 Bump is a fun hands on math game perfect for your math stations, centers, rotations, early finishers, or small groups. Please leave positive feedback if you enjoy this new game as it cost me money to create and a lot of time! I will be using it in tutoring. Click the picture to download it.

Happy Friday! Those not back to teaching yet are on your way back soon! Enjoy what is left of your break.
Today's freebie is a brand new one!!! It is actually my 600th teaching product! WOW!!! Did you know over 60 are FREE???
This is a fun Place Value to 120 game. Children tell how many the base ten blocks represent and then roll a die (dice) and move that many spaces on the game board. Watch out for the worm because they taste yucky and will send them back to start! The task cards can also be used to play the game "Scoot", "Numbered Heads Together", "Quiz, Quiz Trade" or any other cooperative group activity. They can also be used at a center, small group, whole group, journals, for homework, early finishers, etc. Click the picture to grab it for free and please be kind by leaving me positive feedback as it cost me money and time to make this for you. Be sure to follow my store so you know when new freebies come out and check out my other Place Value materials!
Check out some fun freebies from myself and friends!

I've not had much participation in Giveaways lately so instead I will be having Flash Freebies of some of my most popular products (wide range of grade levels) according to conversions (how many sold per view). If you'd like in on that action come follow me on Facebook (click HERE), hover over my name and click on Get Notifications so you don't miss them. I do ask that you take a minute of your time to leave positive feedback if you download (after downloading a freebie click the picture or back arrow to go back to leave feedback after following me). In return, I will continue to do Flash Freebies throughout the year and make new freebies in my stores. This will be going on through New Year's Day!

Blogging Tips
Today, I thought I would share some wonderful tips that helped me get to where I am today. I currently have almost 76,000 views on my blog thanks to the amazing fans, teachers I have worked and subbed with, parents, and students! You all amaze me that you keep coming back to take a look at what is new with me! I have sold $250 worth a products as well. Including my freebies, my teaching materials are in more than 4,000 classrooms. WOW! I can't wait to get a job so I can use them myself!
Enough of me, on to the tips:
1. Have a variety of posts on your blog. I post freebies, paid products, common core materials, Positive Friday posts (will be on hold until school starts back unless I get to work with children first), book reviews, classroom management and teaching ideas.
2. When possible (right now I'm waiting on my computer to get back) post a few pictures, but not loads of pictures on each page (it slows the load time if you have too many) and pin them to pinterest. Make sure your pictures of your products go to your store!
3. Post lots of freebies. Everyone loves free things, not just those wonderful amazing kids! Teachers love free things too! You can never post enough freebies, ever!
4. Follow other blogs, TPT stores, TN stores, FB fan pages, pinterest, etc. and ask them to follow you back!
5. Anything you download leave a nice rating for their hard work and leave a very nice comment. Children love when you praise them, we'll so do teachers!!!
6. Leave nice comments on blogs and FB pages, share those pages with others.
You are welcome to also post any freebies you want on this FB page!!! http://www.facebook.com/BestPracticesFreebies
Also if you'd like to take part in a collaborative board where you can post free products, paid products, and/or blog posts follow me on pinterest (link is on the right side) and leave me your name on pinterest and I will add you!
Consider following those tips and your blog and store will succeed like mine has! Keep smilin'!
