Happy Tuesday! I can't believe that next Wednesday is Halloween already! Don't forget to follow my store HERE (this link will have you automatically follow my TPT store if you are logged in) to see my new resources including a new FREEBIE that I just uploaded a couple of days ago! Please note today's product on this blog post is not free.
This week for the entire tutoring hour we worked on dividing 3 digit numbers by 2, 3, 4, and 5 using my Long Division with Remainders Werewolves Task Cards. She did a much better job this time. We also worked on checking the answers to make sure she had the correct answer. There are 24 cards in color and black and white, a recording sheet, and answer key!
Have a fantastic week with your students and your own children!

Tutoring Tuesdays - May 15th, 2018
Happy Tuesday! You survived Monday Funday! The county I live in has just 7 school days left. I hope your school year is winding down as well. Be sure to follow my store to not miss any new resources including freebies!
I started out tutoring reviewing Multiplication facts up to 5 times 12 with the 2nd grader using my new Multiplication Camping Race. If the student land on shelter you get to go again, but watch out for the animals they will chase the student back to start. So much fun!!!
Next we worked on dividing by 5 with my Division Bump Fluency Game. I am still working on finishing this set. Follow my store to know when it is for sale!
I finished tutoring reviewing adding money using my Adding Money Task Cards. She is getting way faster adding multiple numbers!

Search and Find Math Facts - Highlighting Fun!
Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you to any of you who have fought for our country. God bless you!
Often times Math is one of those subjects that children just don't care for, especially the girls. Why not make Math fun? I am a huge believer in using manipulatives and food to help children enjoy Math. Let's face it, worksheets are usually boring and not engaging for students.
I decided to try to come up with an idea to turn a boring worksheet into something that might be engaging and fun! In this set of Math worksheets the children a highlighter or a crayon to highlight the Math facts. You could laminate it and they could highlight it with a thin dry erase marker or circle them. For example for 5's facts they would highlight all math problems that equal 5. I have included multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction. I went to 12's facts in this. 1's, 2's, and 3's are combined and use 3 different colored highlighters due to there being less facts. Leave me a comment if 1st and 2nd grade teachers would be interested in ones with just addition and subtraction.
