Happy first Friday in March! Spring will be here in just a few months, a day before my birthday! Enjoy the freebies!

This week's featured freebie is one of the first products I created. St. Patrick's Day I Have, Who Has Multiplication. If you look at the linky party below I liked up a Spanish version as well for free. This is a popular class game that takes good listening skills. Please leave positive feedback if you download it or any freebies in the linky party below to show your appreciation. It would be great if you would follow the stores as well so you know when great products including freebies are released. I now have 72 freebies in my store. Wow!

Common Core Products!

As a reminder my TPT products will be on sale for 20% off and another 10% off if you enter the code on the picture at checkout for back to school.

I thought I would highlight some of my newest products that I am very proud of.  This is a chance for you to get them at a super price!  This first one is my Patriotic Owl themed 4th grade Common Core Place Value games!  The numbers go up to 1 million so it is also perfect for 5th grade teachers to use as a review at the beginning of the year or for 5th and 6th grade struggling students.  If you teach younger grades check out my Bear themed ones in my TPT store that go with the 1st and 2nd grade standards for place value!

The next one is my Common Core Essential Questions.  These are for almost all of the Language Arts/Reading Strands for 2nd grade.  Many of the standards I came up with more than one question!

The next product I'd like to highlight is my latest product, which is I Can cards for 2nd Grade to go with the Common Core Standards.  There are cards for all strands and some have more than one card since some of the standards have many parts to them!

The next one I'd like to highlight is my Kindergarten Bear themed Math and Literacy centers!  There are addition, subtraction, letter, sight words, and more!  Check it out here:

Finally, one of my most popular products happens to be my I Have Who Has CVC games.  Five different games for each short vowel using real and nonsense words!  Perfect for first grade and end of Kindergarten.

Thank you for checking out my products.  You may want to put these on your wish list for tomorrow to make it easier for you the day of the sale!  Also, don't forget to leave positive feedback and a nice rating.  You get free points to be used for other TPT products!  You can't beat taking a minute to leave a nice comment to get those points.  I appreciate the awesome feedback from all of you!  It puts a smile on my face!

Freebie Friday - Expanded Notation

Here is a fun game on expanded notation to 120 focusing on 1st grade common core standard for place value.  Children can play concentration match or go fish while matching the expanded notation with the answer.  If you enjoy this game be sure to take a look at my place value unit!

My place value unit was requested by a wonderful fan.  The numbers go to 120 making it a perfect fit for 1st grade classrooms or a great review in 2nd grade.  I am working on one for 2nd grade as well so be on the look out!  What skills would you like to see me make?  Post in the comments below and I will try to get to as many of them as I can.  Next up I will be working on a June fun behavior note (I know I'm far behind thanks to computer trouble, but all is fixed now) and more fraction fun!

Click the picture for your freebie!  Don't forget to rate nicely and leave a nice comment.  You will bring a smile to my face and it only takes a minute to do!

Craig Meets Dave Book Review

I recently had the chance to read and review a book that has become near and dear to my heart.  The book is titled "Craig Meets Dave - And Learns About Autism, Bullying, and Friendship."  It is written by Susanne Breckwoldt, Ph.D  The opinions given are entirely my own!

The main characters in this enjoyable story are cute bears!  Craig, Ben, and Dave are good friends.  Dave is different from the other bears because he has autism.  Dave doesn't like loud noises and doesn't like being touched by others.  With Dave being different from other children, some of the bears start bullying Dave.  When those bears notice Craig and Ben being nice to Dave, they start hurling insults toward Craig and Ben.  They threaten to do something harmful to Craig's sister Emily.  You'll have to read the book to find out what happens next!

This book is great for any Elementary grade.  The chapters are short enough to even hold a Kindergarten student's attention.  It is also very relatable to children who have been a victim of being bullied, been a bully themselves, or helped a child who was being bullied.  Using this book as a read aloud would spark great discussions on how how to handle a bully and what it feels like to be bullied.  It may help stop it from happening in your classroom!

If you are interested in checking out the book yourself click on the picture above!  I am also pleased to announce that Dr. Breckwoldt will be doing a guest blog in the future to talk more about the book.  If you have any questions for her regarding bullying, autism, or friendship please leave your questions below in the comments.  She just may answer some of them for you!

As always keep smilin' and thanks for hoppin' by Hopkins' Hoppin' Happenings!
