Back To School Sale!

Happy Friday to my amazing fans, friends, fellow teachers, students, parents, and administrators!  As school is just beginning I have yet to be needed to sub so my Positive Fridays will hopefully start again next week.  I did find out this week (2nd week of August) is National Smile week!  How awesome is that?  I hope that you have done a lot of smiling and got the children to smile as well!  In the spirit of smile week I found this really awesome quote that I would like to share with you.  There is no author for it.

"Always set your mood positively each morning.  Because the best way to do everything is to start something with smiling."  

That quote is the attitude that I take going into teacher and subbing every day!  It sets me apart from other teachers and the children feed off of it!

I hope the first week of school has gone well for Brevard County students and I wish the Kindergarten children and their teachers much success when they go back on Monday!  I have already picked up one day of subbing in late August in Kindergarten.  I can't wait!!!

Back To School Freebie!

Happy Friday my amazing friends, fans, teachers, students, and parents!  Thank you so much for helping my blog reach 98,000 views.  That is incredible!  Once I hit 100,000 views I will have another super fun giveaway.  I have a few great fellow bloggers who have each given me an incredible product to giveaway!

This week I finally got my A/C back.  Yes, I've been living with no A/C for 2 weeks here in Florida, not very fun that is for sure.  I am enjoying the air!!!

This coming week should be a fun one as I am heading to the beach to visit with some families of children who I taught my first 2 years in Kindergarten!  It is hard to believe that these children are now going to be in 8th and 9th grade.  They are each doing so well in school and I am so proud of them!  One of their older brothers even went to school to become a teacher and will be teaching in the Fall!

I also have an interview set for Thursday at 3pm.  It is a Charter School and in Orange County.  I am from Brevard, but it would be about a 45 minute drive and I have subbed in some schools in Brevard that were up to an hour away so I can do this!

June Behavior Freebie!

You the fans voted in my poll that you want freebies!!!  So why not give you your 2nd freebie in just 2 days!!!  I know it is halfway through June and I am far behind on creating a behavior freebie for June.  I finally got it done.  The dang computer problems and me making a couple of awesome place value units took away time.  I will try to do better and get July's up much sooner even though most of you aren't in school in July.  I do know that some have summer school, home school, or work in year round schools so I will make them for July too!

Anyway click on the pictures to go to my store to download the behavior freebie for free.  If you missed previous posts on how I use them, I put the child's name on them ahead of time and usually date them.  Any child who had a good day gets one of these great behavior notes at the end of the day.  The ones who misbehave it goes in the garbage and they have the shot at one next month.  It keeps the kids on their toes as they never know when you will pass them out and with my experience they really want to receive them!  The parents love them as they love getting good notes home.  Great for substitute teachers too, I had so many children thank me and saw their big smiles on their faces when I passed them out from time to time or just wrote handwritten notes.
