Happy Tuesday! Wow, already the very last Tuesday of September!!! Last week I started out working on subtracting across zeroes with the 3rd grader using my new Fall Monsters Subtracting Across Zeroes Task Cards. There are 24 task cards in color and black white, a recording sheet, and answer key!
Next we worked on 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication using my FREE Mermaids 2 Digit by 1 Digit Multiplication Task Cards. There are 24 task cards in color and black and white and it also includes a recording sheet and answer key. This set works on the lower facts. It is also 17 pages and they prefer that I keep freebies to 10 pages. It has been awhile since I've made something for free so I decided to make this free anyway.
I finished tutoring by doing a little bit of long division dividing by 2 using my Unicorns Long Division Dividing by 2 Task Cards. Can you believe in 3rd grade she is doing long division already? I'll be working more on this with her next week. It includes 24 task cards, a recording sheet, and answer key.

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is out for the summer now in the United States. Last week in tutoring, I started out tutoring working on multiplying 11 or 12 by 0 through 5 using my Summer Monsters Multiplication Race. The cards in this set have all products from 0 to 12. I just took out these specific equations to work on with her. If you land on a monster you have to go back to start! Tons of fun!!!
Next, I had her work on putting numbers in the hundreds in order since she had a mega ton of difficulty with putting numbers in the thousands in order the week before. We used my new FREE Beach Buckets Ordering Numbers in the Hundreds. Please leave positive feedback and rating for my hard work. Remember it cost me money to purchase the clip art and fonts. She did a fantastic job, so we went back to working on ordering numbers in the thousands using the Popsicles from last week. She got 8 out of 10 right this time.
I also reviewed with her how many days in a year, month, week, and some metric conversions. I plan to do that quite a bit especially the metric conversions until she has it ingrained in her head. Then I had her measure a few things on a free measuring page I found on TPT.
We finished tutoring by reviewing dividing by 3, 4, and 5 using my Unicorns Division Race. Land on a unicorn you get to go again, but land on the rainbow poop and you have to go back to start. So much fun!!! Facts go from 0 to 12's in this game. I just pull the cards that I plan to use for tutoring.

We started tutoring last Wednesday working on rounding to the nearest dollar using my Ice Cream Monsters Rounding to the Nearest Dollar Race. Students can use the fun game board like we did or you can use the task cards as traditional task cards. Land on a monster and it stole your ice cream go back to start, but land on an ice cream cone or sundae and you get to go again! So much fun! She only missed one question. A recording sheet and answer key are included.
Next we worked on adding money using my Adding Money Regrouping Task Cards. These task cards do not come with a board game, but we used my board game that comes with my Cinco de Mayo Sight Word game to make it more fun in tutoring. You can use it as traditional task cards. A recording sheet and answer key are included. She did not miss a single question!
We finished tutored working on Multiplication and Division Fact Families using my Multiplication and Division Fact Family Houses. There are 24 task cards included. If you laminate them students can write on them with a dry erase marker. I did include a recording sheet, but they will have to write very small to fit all 4 equations. Otherwise use notebook paper. An answer key is included. She didn't miss a single fact family! The example below was printed black and white on colored card stock. They are available in color and black and white.

Happy Tuesday! Much better Tuesday for me than last week. My dog is okay thankfully. She got her stitches removed last week and the cone as well. Unfortunately she has to have eye drops in her the rest of her life. Be sure to follow my store by simply clicking HERE if you are logged into TPT!

We started out reviewing Multiplying by 4 and learning 5's using my Ocean Animals Multiplication Race. This game has all facts up to 12x12! Silly me left the game board at home so I had her pick a game board of her choice. The picture shows the correct game board. Land on a dolphin and you get to go again, but land on a shark and it chases you back to start!
Next we worked on reviewing tally marks to 10 using my FREE Earth Day Tally Marks Clip It cards. If you laminate it you can also have the child circle the answers. If you download this please show your kindness by leaving positive perfect feedback!
Then we worked on division by 4 using my Beach Division Race. These go all the way to 12 facts. I again forgot the game board at home so she picked one. The correct board game is pictured.
We also did some elapsed time to the hour. I just gave her a card with a clock on it and told her to tell me the time if it was an hour later. This is not pictured, but I have many telling time cards HERE.
We finished with just an introduce to rounding dollars using my Ice Cream Monsters Rounding to the Nearest Dollar Task Cards We didn't use the board game that does come with this one due to time, but we'll be doing this one on Wednesday so check back next week to see it in action!

Happy Tuesday! Wow, it's already February! I hope those of you who watched the Super Bowl enjoyed the game. I watched the Puppy Bowl instead.
Last week I worked with the 2nd grader more on counting dollars using my Counting Dollar Bills Task Cards. We worked on counting 1 dollar bills, 5 dollar bills, and 10 dollar bills. It also includes 20 dollar bills but we did not get that far. She only missed a couple. I put it with a new Unicorn game board. The game board is sold with my Unicorn Games. If you land on a unicorn you go again but if you land on the rainbow poop you go back to start!
We also worked on counting coins using my Counting Coins Clip It Task Cards. There are 24 cards where she had to find the the correct amount with the decimal point! She did an excellent job and didn't miss a single question! This set also includes 24 cards without the decimal point and just has the cent sign with different choices for answers.
We finished using my Valentine's Day 3 Digit Subtraction Task Cards. We only had time to do a few cards. I put them with the Valentine's Day Monster Board Game, which is not included with these task cards. You can get the game board for FREE. Land on a monster go back to start, but land on a bunny you get to go again!

Wow, it is already Fall/Autumn! It has been awhile since I last posted for tutoring Tuesdays because I didn't tutor for 3 weeks. I last tutored last Thursday so this post will be about that. I also was without power a couple of days due to Hurricane Irma and then had to get my computer fixed to turn on. It's been an adventure but I am same and unharmed. We did not get hurricane winds here on the space coast in Florida. Thank goodness it went west. I still had some damage to the roof and fence, but it sure could have been worse.
Anyway, back on topic I had a great time tutoring the superstar 2nd grader! She is such a smart cookie. We started working on reviewing missing number equations by filling in the missing addend using my Scarecrows Missing Number Equations Task Cards. These can be used as traditional task cards for Scoot or any other cooperative group game or placed at a center. I put it with my Scarecrow Sight Word board game that you get with the sight word race game. Land on a crow go back to start, but land on a scarecrow you get to go again. Click the picture if you would like to use the task cards with your students!
Next we worked on place value to 1,000 using my Fall Monsters Place Value to 1,000 Task Cards which includes the board game. In this game children pick a card and read to see if they need to tell what number is in the ones, tens, or hundreds place. Then they roll one dice or a spinner and move that many spaces. Watch out for the monster as it will send you back to start! A recording sheet and answer key are included if you would prefer to use it for Scoot, Quiz, Quiz Trade, etc. Click the picture if you would like to use the task cards with your students!
Next we used a Bump game from my Subtraction Fluency Bump Games to practice 9 facts. I taught her to add the two digit together in the 2 digit number to be able to subtract 9 quickly. So if it is 14-9 add 1+4 to get 5 for the answer 14-9=5. She picked that up really quick! Click the picture if you would like to use the task cards with your students!
We ended with my Counting Coins Task Cards. I put it with my Community Helpers Sight Word Race game board. If you land on a community helper you have to go back to start. The money task cards come with a recording sheet and an answer key so you can use it for Scoot or any other cooperative group activity or for early finishers.

I hope each of you are on summer vacation if not I know those of you in the united states are getting close!
Last week in tutoring we worked more on 3 digit addition regrouping. I used my Hot Air Balloon 3 Digit Addition Regrouping Task Cards. There is enough room for her to write on the cards to come up with the answers. I put it with the hot air balloon game board that comes with this product. You can use dice or the spinner that is included. We used the spinner. If a student lands on the hot air balloon they get to go again. She did a great job! Then I gave her a worksheet with just 9 questions on it and she got 8 correct! I will have the worksheets available in my store at some point.
Next we worked on addition and subtraction 3 number equations. She worked on this in school and even has a few each time on timed one minute test. These Monster Addition and Subtraction 3 Number Equations Task Cards made reviewing this skill fun. She asked where to put the answer and then she suggested in the monsters mouth! Children have to watch out for the monster as it will chase them back to start! So much!

This CD has 16 highly engaging fun songs! They work perfectly for brain breaks and indoor recess when the weather is too cold or rainy. Research shows that children need brain breaks to be able to focus after long periods of sitting still.

Many teachers do turkey activities during Thanksgiving, but it's also perfect for an animal/bird unit. Also, just for a fun brain break! 8.There was a Crocodile - This is a fun animal song with animal sounds. This is perfect for any animal unit! Your students will have a blast making these animal sounds!

Wow, it's been awhile since I last blogged. I thought I would share my latest freebie that many of you may have missed unless you are following my TPT store and/or FB page! This one is for older students. It's Monster Division Bump!
Bump is a game where you answer the math fact (this time it is Division) and cover that space with a colored counter. If someone gets the same answer they can bump you off unless you got the same answer again before being bumped off. Then your space is safe! The first player to use all 10 counters wins. If your students have never played bump before they are in for a treat and there aren't very many Division bump games out there. Mine is FREE and uses cards that your students will turn over to solve.
I also added a blank set of cards in case you want to write with a marker or pen different problems.
