I can't believe that spring will be here on March 20th, the day before my birthday! I'll be 37 years old. I'll be tutoring on my birthday for an amazing child. I found out I went to elementary school with her dad!

Cut along the lines of my CVC Easter Eggs to create puzzles for your students. Perfect for an easy word work phonics center. R-Controlled Vowels and Vowel Pairs are also currently available. If you need another skill contact me.
Easter After Numbers Race is a fun game that gives the students two numbers and then they must name what number comes next. They roll one die or the fun bunny spinner and move that many spaces. If they land on a snake they go back to start, but if they land on a chick they get to go again. The cards can also be used as task cards.
My favorite spring video has to be "Spring Is Here" by The Learning Station. Your children will learn all about animals in spring and will also enjoy the wonderful animation and movements for this song. Perfect brain break that ties into Science.
Those who have teaching ideas, products free or paid, and music may link up as many as you want below as long as it has to do with spring.
One of my most popular sets of products this year has been my Clip Its. This is a fun hands on center where children find the vowel sound (word for CVC) that matches the picture. By using a clothespin students are working on fine motor skills. Other teachers put these into plastic sleeves or laminate and use a dry erase marker to circle the answer. Another alternative is to play the popular game "Scoot" with them.A recording sheet and answer key are also included. Click on the pictures or links to check them out.

Next up is Synonyms in the Sun where students play a board game that uses cards. They pick a card and name a synonym for the card and move that many spaces on the game board. The first one to the finish line is the winner. It also comes with a cute poster and a worksheet.

I thought I would fill my readers in who may not be following my store or facebook about my brand new set of products! I am using the adorable Glitter Cell Phones fromGlitter Meets Glue Designs.
The first product is geared toward K-2 and is called Cell Phone CVC and CVCe Center Activities. Students text the CVC or CVCe word by looking up the letters and seeing what number matches the letter. I also included recording sheets if you want your students to do a word sort and for ABC order! Directions, common core standards, and answer keys are included. It is also in black and white too! Last are my Cell Phone Multiplication Texting product. Perfect for end of the year 2nd grade through 6th graders who are learning their basic facts.
