I am happy to announce that TPT is having their Back To School sale on August 1st and 2nd. There is a change for all future sales. Before most sellers including myself put everything on sale for 20% off and then with the code TPT took off 10% after the 20% was taken off thus you saved 28% (more off bundles). Now most of us including myself will still put everything on sale for 20% off, but TPT's code will get you 5% which is added on to the 20% so you will save 25% off everything. Bundles you can save more on at least in my store as they are already heavily discounted! Use code BTS2017 to save 25%. I will keep my store on sale on Thursday. Click the picture to head to my store!
I have many bundles that will help you save a ton of money! Clip It Phonics, Word Boxes, Kindergarten Math Interactive Student Notebooks, Primary Math Task Card Bundle, Place Value to 1 Million Task Cards, Place Value to 1,000 Task Cards, Place Value to 120 Task Cards, Fractions Task Cards, and more! Be sure to also check out my Back To School centers and games!

Kindergarten Interactive Notebook Math Bundle on Educents
I asked Educents if I could put something up for sale on their site and they said yes and asked me if I would bundle my Kindergarten Math Interactive Student Notebooks. Of course, I said yes! These are probably my favorite product that I have made to date.
Educents is offering my product on sale for $7.99, which is a 34% off discount! You get my Interactive Student Notebook Numbers to 5, Numbers to 10, and Addition. If you were thinking of trying ISNs with your Kindergarten students now is the perfect time to grab this deal as it is only on sale for a limited time.
Mine are unique because they include the preview (what do I know?), interactive (guided practice), and process (what do I know now?) pieces. I worked out each page and colored the pictures so all examples are included in the packet as well. These are interactive and FUN!
I went on another interview last week and shared this at the very end and the principal told me she really loved it! I know you will too!
Click any of the pictures to get this great deal for a limited time!

Positive Fridays - Week of June 9th, 2014
TGIF Everyone! This post will mostly be about the past 2 weeks as it has been awhile since I posted a Positive Friday post. The school year has come to a close so I will post again next school year if I find myself a new teaching job.
The last couple of weeks of school sure went fast! My last day with the students was last Friday and I worked 2 days this week boxing everything up that belonged to the school and myself. I am hopeful I'll find a new teaching job. I will miss my amazing teammates, office staff, administration, students, and parents. They really made for a great fun school year!

I am hopeful I'll find a new teaching job. I will miss my amazing teammates, office staff, administration, students, and parents. They really made for a great fun school year!
- Between two schools I had a student who had missed almost 50 days. When she was here, she learned like a sponge! She finally mastered all of her letter sounds and all, but 1 of her sight words! I have no doubt she'll learn that last word over the summer.
- Two other students were struggling to count orally to 100, but by the last week both of them mastered that skill! Hard work pays off!
- Our last week we did so many fun things. We started off with a fun Field Day in the morning. This district did Field Day a lot different than I am used to. Each class all the students competed against themselves and there were 17 different stations. The children had so much fun!
- We also had Water Day where the children ate Popsicles, did a sponge relay, cup relay, played with bubbles, shaving cream, and picked up tiny toys with their toes. I was blessed to have two volunteers help out!
- The last day of school we made a Father's Day card, cleaned the tables with shaving cream (they wanted to do this all day long!), watched Reading Rainbow and Magic School Bus videos. We also played several board games. The children had an absolute blast!
- I also just had a very kind parent say she would write me a letter of recommendation. My principal said the same thing. I can't wait to get these letters as they may help me get a job. I'll also be using the letter sent me by the father of a wonderful parent that I blogged about a couple of weeks ago. It's great to get positive feedback from parents and administration.
- I also was just forwarded a kind letter that the grandparent of a child who was so kind to volunteer every week for me (my only weekly volunteer) sent to the principal and assistant principal on my behalf.
How many days of school do you have left or are you done? Do you have any end of the year positives that you would like to share?
I plan to start working on my next series of teaching products, the real way to do ISNs (interactive student notebooks). Do you use them? What subjects? What grade level? What do you like about them? Elmer's glue or gluesticks? Composition Notebooks or Spiral Notebooks? I'd love to hear your opinions!

Having Fun with Blends using Books, Interactive Student Notebooks, and a Giveaway!
Hameray Publishing company was kind enough to contact me and ask if I'd like to review one of their products. They sent me the books for their series "Letter Buddies Best Friends." It comes with 22 books, each book comes with a different blend. The pictures help give a clue as to what the blend is, which will help early readers like my Kindergarten children figure out the words. The last page of the book includes a writing activity that goes with the 6 blends that are in the book.

These books are great to be used in small groups, whole groups, or even individual in a student's book basket. Read the book to the students and then have them list all of that particular blend (bl if you read Blow on the Blankets) and record it on a white board or chart paper. Next I box the blend and we practice reading each word, saying the blend as one sound to help chunk the word into 2 parts. My students like highlighting so you can give them a list of words and have them highlight the blend.
After going through all of the books that have to do with l blends, r blends, or s blends I have my students do a fun foldable. They glue a picture under the flap to match the blend and then write the word. This can easily be done in an Interactive Student Notebook. Click the picture to get it for free in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
It is suggested to do a preview first by seeing if they can write down a blend on their own that starts with bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl. Then do the fun foldable mentioned. Then have them process it someway to check for understanding. Maybe you could give them some words and do a word sort. I again love to let them highlight the blend after sorting the words or you can give them some of the blends and have them draw a picture of a different word that they come up with. Another option is to have them do a writing activity at the end of one of the books.
Hameray Publishing is having a really amazing contest! They are giving away a Letter Buddies class set to one lucky winner. You get the books mentioned above, plus Letter Buddies Letter Books, Letter Buddies Blend Books, Letter Buddies Starters, Letter Buddies Letter Mats, Letter Buddies Alphabet Lap books, Magnetic Letters, and a Magnetic Whiteboard. Wow! The winner will be announced on June 2nd! Click HERE to enter!
One lucky winner of my blog has a chance to win the Letter Buddies Alphabet Lap books. You can enter by clicking on the Rafflecopter form. One lucky winner will be chosen. You can get entries by following Hameray on their FB page, Hamerays Letter Buddies FB page, and following Hameray on Pinterest.
