Freebie Fridays - November 18th, 2016

I hope the United States teachers, parents, and children had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Only a few more weeks and everyone will get Christmas break off!

Last year I created a line of products called Word Boxes where students can write on the word boxes when the activity is laminated or in plastic sleeves. It helps children learn how to spell words in a hands on way and also helps them learn which numbers touch the top, middle, or below line. Here is a Freebie your students will be sure to enjoy "Christmas Word Boxes". Unlike my phonics word boxes this one has a word bank since the words are much harder for younger students. It also makes it easy to differentiate as some children can have the word bank and others don't for more of a challenge. Freebie Fridays - September 9th, 2016

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week with your students. The first week for many of you and others are about a month or more into the year already! Enjoy this week's freebies including a brand new one that I put up a few days ago.

Here's another new freebie for you! Apple Au and Aw Word sort. Students sort the words on the apples into the correct baskets. Very simple word work center that your students will enjoy. Freebie Fridays - Week of July 8th, 2016

Happy Friday! I hope everyone in the United States had a great 4th of July weekend!

Today's featured freebie is a brand new one I created this week. I'm not a big fan of worksheets, but I have been working on printables for the various phonics sounds: Beginning Sounds, CVC and CVCe including Y, Blends, Digraphs, Diphthongs, Vowel Pairs, R-Controlled Vowels, and Silent Letters.

I have made my Silent Letters packet available for free. One color the picture that makes the sound for each silent letter: gn, kn, wr, and mb. Click on the picture to get this no prep packet for free.

Valentine's Day Fun!

Valentine's Day is approaching very quickly!  I have some great ideas to help make this week fun for your students.

One of my favorite videos that ties in nicely with Valentine's Day is "You Are Heart" by The Learning Station. 


I have also been hard at working making some new teaching products that you may not have seen yet, including a freebie!  This first one is my CVC Valentine Word Work Centers.  Here are some pictures from it!

Fall 2nd Grade Centers
